done. over. finished. HOORAY.

We played our first show. And I didn't dissolve into a puddle of goo on the stage floor. And people danced. Granted, all the dancers were my friends, but danced, they did. And you people who flaked out on me had best be prepared to suffer the cold shoulder for at least thirty seconds.

For a nasty, cold, rainy night in the dorkiest city ever, we did OK. And we had glow sticks. CAN YOU TOP THAT?

Congrats on the show! I bet it is only the first of many. Well I actually tried really hard to make it. I completely manipulated my friend Amy into driving even though she was scared about her car, and we got halfway down and had to stop for gas, and pulling off the freeway she rear-ended some asshole in an SUV because guess what, her breaks gave out! So of course only her car was damaged but the SUV guy got all agro on us and threatened to sue, and Amy doesn't actually have insurance right now so we did what any smart grrl would do and just took off! It was too rainy for him to see the license plate anyway. So but now Amy wants to kill me because her car is dented. She was so mad she would not continue on to the show and she didn't talk to me all the way home. On sunday I tried to make up with her and so to pay my penance she forced me to go with her to her niece's open house at school. AACK! It was horrible. But I looked at the art on the walls and I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought it was a sign, but I don't know what it means. Anyway I took a picture to maybe make up for missing your gig. Maybe it's the Universe reminding me that things will work if I just mellow out and let things go.

Fuck, I am sorry, I didn't know it was postiing- I kept gettin an error and trying again!!! Sorry sorry sorry. I hope you can delete all my repeats. The last one was because I thought maybe your server didn't want HTML in the posts even though I thought that was weird because it showed up fine in the preview. SOOOOORRRRY!

That's pretty damn freaky, Peachy. (the picture.) Though I'm not sure if the coincidence is creepier than what the kids wrote about the "Reasons 4 Bunny Day." Agkh.
