omigod weeeee!

I've been hiding from the rest of the world lately, trying to realign my life and my priorities and to have some semblance of sanity. And of course, instead of holding on to what little sanity I've gained, I've decided to do something stupid.

Last night I signed up for National Novel Writing Month. So from November 1 to November 30th, I'll be joining thousands of other people who have decided to do a crazy thing: write an entire 50,000 word novel in a month. A few far-flung friends have decided to do this as well, so we'll have a nice support group handy when we all go insane.

I've decided to write the adventures of Bunny Day, a stripper with a Cassandra affliction who helps a curmudgeonly detective solve crimes. I figure that if I can spit out one Bunny novel, I can turn it into a franchise! Bunny Day and the Cursed Jewel of Tragalfar! Bunny Day and the Case of the Missing Mobster!

Of course I'll be posting links to the work-in-progress as it, well, progresses, so you can join in on the fun.

I'm a little confused... do you mean to tell me that you are writing a novel AND songs and singing in a band? And you're working full-time? WOW. You must be a super-hero.
