As of today, I have contracted my soul away to Macromedia for the next month, at the very least. Which is VERY good news, as it means I no longer have to worry about the fact that Monday is my last day at NWP, and where my next paycheck is coming from. I know! Thank Jebus, I know!

We're not recording after all this weekend, which is a good thing, since this weekend is probably the last one I'll have to myself in a good long while, considering what they told me about the state of affairs at Macromedia when I went in for my interview yesterday. So if you're used to seeing me on a fairly regular basis, in person, here's your warning that you might as well get unused to it right now.

But I will have money! For things like cellphones and cable and Macintoshes and credit card bills and rent and food! And I will be doing work that I may not love, but at least it's challenging and tolerable, and in my chosen field.

Life could be better, but not much.
