Two and a half. I just need to write words for the third, and our goal of having 3 songs by the end of February will be met before the middle of February has even passed.
Now I just need to develop enough coordination to sing and play at the same time. It's a lot tougher than it looks.
I even sang today, despite the fact that I have a cold and I sound like shit, because Devin reminded me that if things work out the way I want them to, I'm going to have to put on a good show even if I'm dying of malaria.
Devin walked in during the recording of the new song and said "That rocks!" And granted, he's probably biased, but I think it rocks too.
QOTD:
Bee: So, I wonder how she's doing with the, um, sex?
(This was all in the delivery, folks, and I suppose you had to be there, but I'm still giggling about it even now.)
Are these songs going to be available for general consumption (i.e., streaming playback or download), or do I need to fly out and catch a show?
Posted by: michael on August 30, 2002 11:54 AMI figure that they'll be available for download, eventually. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't fly out and catch a show. Right now they're just roughed out songs, we still haven't had a practice with the full band.
Posted by: Laura on August 30, 2002 11:55 AMThe way things have been going this month, perhaps I can stop by for a show on my way up PCH -> AlCan -> Yukon. Auigh.
