Last night we went to catch Replicator at a happy hour show at the Covered Wagon and then afterwards, Chris, Conan and Lisa came by Lennon to watch Extra Salty practice on the soundstage. (Will and Rachel and Devin and Panda also dropped in to see.)
We ran through our set twice, once for everyone and then once again for Panda when she arrived after being lost somewhere on Harrison Street. Let me tell ya whot: playing for other people is exhausting. Normally, when we rehearse in that room, we run through our set three times and then work on other things without dragging too much. Last night, after two sets, we were done. We needed someone to tuck us into beddy-bye and sing us songs. We were all seriously dragging. We had intended to continue practicing after everyone else left, but it just didn't happen, so we sat around on the couch and talked about things we could do at shows to make us more fun.
I'm still exhausted. In fact, I'm so exhausted that I can't even think of a way to wrap this entry up. So bye.
