need-to-know basis

People are reading, so we'uns is updating.

Yesterday, the songs we recorded at Tiny Telephone were mastered. They sound pretty fuckin' good. But you don't have to take my word for it. You can click here for to be sampling.

I know I promised some big long post about what it was like to record at TT, but honestly, I don't think I'm up to it. It was a perfect series of moments, preserved in time, and to try to explain it now, a month later, would make it seem less so. Let's just say it'll always be one of the best weekends of my life, no matter where I go and what I do from here. Lifetime Fantasy Fulfilled, et cetera.

What you Need to Know:

  • Band's been on hiatus while Andy's galavanting around Europe for a month.
  • I'm going to Los Angeles for the 2nd annual Cresvention, first weekend in August.
So if you're in LA and you want to meet me, TOUGH SHIT.
  • My hovercraft is full of eels.

This is awesome, I must really be psychic, no doubt about it. I was just TODAY going to post a comment mentioning that you never told us how recording went that weekend. So when are you guys gonna have a gig? I'm local, you know. But the other psychic thing is that I am going to be in LA too. But not at that convention. I have a HOT DATE down there. So I won't get to meet you even though you said I can't anyway. Plus I think I'm going the week after you. I'll be in West Hollywood smoking LOTS of weed and doing other things, activities as well as drugs...

So I've listened to the latest MP3s. HOE LEE FUCK KING SHIT. :)
You guys totally rock. Here's to your success, here's to you all never stopping having fun, and here's to you never getting ass-fucked by the entertainment industry.
And "Bite" is absofuckinglutely wonderful. It officially replaces "San Pablo" as my favorite song of yours.
Request: Cover the Buffy theme!! You guys are tight as hell and could totally pull it off, and I'd never have to worry about hearing the Breeders version of it then.
Okay. enough rambling. Being drunk will do that to you, as I'm sure you well know. :)

Yes, very much potential in that music, and I was quite pleasantly suprised by your voice (well, I've never heard you before, but it's not what I expected.)

By the way, have you guys thought about adding a rythym guitar? I think it would complement your vocals quite nicely.

Sounds good. Do you plan to release it on cd??
Sounds much better than most of the "hit brigrade" overhere in the U.K.
